[Video] SlickThePoet (@PRMSlickThePoet) – How Does It Feel

With his Truth Be Told album still getting tons of spins around the globe, SlickThePoet gives his fans a new visual from the project with “How Does It Feel“. The artist links up with frequent collaborator, Beeisthefuture, as he provides help with being the man behind the camera and tabs Be Known’s own MP Visuals as the man behind the keyboard when it came to the editing for the video.

The visual for the track is the first of six that the New Orleans bred, now living in Los Angeles, artist is set to release as he continues to promote the Truth Be Told album to the fullest extent. Scenes from the video were shot around LA, primarily at Venice Beach, using his surroundings to help bring his vision to life for track three off the project. When asked about what he think’s the video showcases and how he wishes the video is interpreted by viewers Slick says “the vision within each song, every song, is like it’s own episode or series to my life’s movie. I want the people to feel the music and feel the vision through the video. I just want to give fans the real me through the truth be told experience”.

With over 48,000 views on YouTube, it’s safe to say that the plan behind the visual was fulfilled as it does what SlickThePoet intended for it to do. “How Does It Feel” showcases his highs being surrounded by friends that he calls family, but also shows his lows when he feels like he is surrounded by fake people (hence the manikins) but through it all he keeps it real and stay’s true to himself. Throw in some clean editing that isn’t too flashy but does the video justice, and you get the final outcome for the song that has over 10,000 spins on Spotify. Check out the visual for yourself below and tap in with his the deluxe edition of Truth Be Told as well.
